Finn Linas, a Play Higher FC player since he was 10 years old, has been invited to try out with The Barca Residency Academy. FC Barcelona operates their US Academy system out of Casa Grande in Arizona. Finn and I will be headed to Arizona at the beginning of March where he will train with the Academy in hopes of being offered a spot on their team.

Barca Academy is looked at as the most prestigious development academy for boys soccer in the US graduating 100% of their players to professional contracts or college scholarships. It is an honor for Finn to be invited to such an amazing club. I am proud of Finn’s leadership that he continues to show within my groups and his desire to play all-day. If he is not at team practice, you can find him at street soccer!
